The product concept aims to create an idea and realize it into a product. It is a centralized approach that involves different actors and different business functions such as management, marketing, engineering, cost evaluation and sales, sometimes it also involves the contribution of key-suppliers with a strong collaboration.
It is divided into several phases, step by step, such as: preparation and approval of the product plan, preliminary design and final design.
RuleDesigner supports the definition of the product concept through project management tools and product structure that acts as collectors of infomation and manager of the entire information and document workflow.
The product sheet, can be managed and consulted directly from the project reference, it allows to define the main levels of the product list, which will be detailed in the following design and production phases.
