Modulblok spa has received the Value Chain 4.0 award for the high degree of digitization achieved thanks to RuleDesigner.

This year, the “Value Chain 4.0” award, set up by the Digital Innovation HUB of Friuli Venezia Giulia region goes to Modulblok.
Modulblok, leading company in the field of the Storage Systems and Warehouse Logistics, was awarded for the “ integrated and real-time digitalization of processes for the acquisition, scheduling and management of orders” as part of the Friuli Venezia Giulia initiative Fari Manufatturieri (Lighthouse Manufacturers).
An ambitious innovation project that became operational with RuleDesigner, a collaborative platform for the management and automation of business processes to support the extended company.

A digital transformation path presupposes the application of new organizational and business management models that become operational thanks to enabling technologies, with the aim of improving efficiency and, at the same time, the customer experience.
Modulblok spa has successfully implemented such a vision, getting both the “Value Chain 4.0” award and the recognition of “Lighthouse Manufacturer of Friuli Venezia Giulia”, by the digital innovation HUB of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Modulblok spa has understood several years ago that an efficient and effective organization is the one that passes through processes and tools organized in such a way that people can operate with the absolute certainty of achieving results. However, this only happens if the order workflow is almost trivialised in its complexity by adopting one of the Lean principles that requires to standardize processes, after eliminating waste.

Therefore, Modulblok spa underwent a process of continuous improvement for which the introduction of software technologies was needed to integrate and streamline every aspect of the management, including the office one.
